We offer a range of beers, spirits and soft drinks, including Carlsberg, Guinness and J2O. Our beers are well cellared and looked after. For real ale drinkers we serve Butcombe Bitter from the Butcombe Brewery just south of Bristol and their winter Ale, Brunel, is currently selling very well. Recent guest beers include: Cotswold Way, Old Codger, Wadworth's 6X, Goffs' Jouster and Guinevere. Dinosaur AleA new addition to the beer line-up is our own Dinosaur Ale (3.7%) brewed for us by one of our suppliers - a light hoppy crisp ale - very refreshing. We are happily becoming known as a good real ale pub - even in the quieter weeks Tony has succeeded in keeping three real ales on the bar most days. New additions include Bankers' Draft and Cotswold Way from Wickwar brewery. Why not pop in and see what we have for you?
Did you know? We are reliably informed that the Greyhound was the first pub in the forest to introduce real ale back in the 70's at the start of the CAMRA campaign to go back to the real live product!
